AO Business

Jamie has once again excelled in inspiring and motivating a large team, this time at AO Business. This is the second time that I’ve brought Jamie into an organisation, and the impact his sessions have on colleagues is nothing short of phenomenal. Two days after the sessions have ended, I’ve been blown away by the colleague feedback, especially those that have little interest in sport of knew who Jamie was. Jamie offers businesses and their teams something very special; motivational ideas, inspirational challenges and honest truths from one of the greatest Rugby League players, and arguably sporting individuals this country has produced. For any business considering using Jamie, I can honestly say it is probably the best investment decision in people you may make; not only did the sessions themselves inspire hundreds of our colleagues, but it has opened the doors to honest 121 conversations to allow everyone to become the best as an individual and as a team member. I’m already thinking of the next opportunity to bring Jamie in again. In the session Jamie quotes, ‘how would we ever know what a good day felt like if we never had a bad day?’ – well, I can honestly say the day that Jamie Peacock visited AO Business, it was a very good day indeed!

Clarion

We were delighted to have the opportunity to have Jamie Peacock talk to the team at Clarion about the twelve principles that underpin a Champion Team.

Jamie took the time ahead of the session to understand our business in order to ensure the messages were aligned and understand what we trying to achieve by his talk.

His session far-exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend him for his engaging and authentic style, clarity of message and the sharing of his personal reflections and learnings from a successful career in Rugby League.

The key points shared around what makes a Champion Team, no matter the industry, resonated with our team and the power of the messages came from the fact that they were all easily understood and attainable for us all to achieve.

The audience were inspired and enthused by his messages and a few were positively star struck!

KPMG

I know nothing about rugby league but I thought he was great – very inspiring. Think I’m even going to write some goals down (proper ones, rather than corporate speak required by dialogue). Maybe we could employ him while he’s recovering – then every time someone’s flagging we could just send them for some “Jamie-time” and they’ll come back all fired up and raring to go.

Jo Joyce, Corporate Tax, KPMG

Jamie’s talk was inspiring, he connected with everyone in the room. The feedback I received from the talk internally was the best we’ve had from a keynote motivational speaker.

“Jamie’s teamwork day firstly enabled the 2 teams on the day to define what winning behaviours look like, which provided a framework of common ground and common purpose for the teams to work together. Jamie’s down to earth style combined with the universality of the program made sure that everybody embraced the new behaviours. Improvement in the team’s attitude and belief has been transformational. Few words from post session feedback: Insightful, collaborative, reflective, ‘to the point’, learning could be put into practice straight away… I am looking forward to working with Jamie in rolling out the ‘Champion Teams’ program across our business.”

There was so much cross over with the Champion Teams talk that he delivered and our own company values that really helped us cement the key messages we were wanting to deliver.
